We’re hiring
Build software that impacts lives
We are on a mission to change critical care in Europe and the United States, starting in neonatal intensive care, where most of the useful data disappears the moment it leaves the monitor.
Our job is to support clinicians with algorithms and data so they can deliver the best possible care. Small team, short lines: you decide, you build, and you see it used in a real unit.

How we work
Five things you can hold us to
01
Collaborative by default
Small team, short lines. Everyone helps everyone. Ask the person next to you, drop it in a channel, someone picks it up. Nothing sits waiting three days for a sign-off.
02
Direct line to the people who know
The CEO, CMO, the clinicians using the product: all one message away. No layers between you and the people who decide or the people who use what you build.
03
Learn medical software properly
You work inside a real ISO 13485 quality system, against IEC 62304 and MDR. Whatever your role, you leave here with experience very few people in the market have.
04
Ship into a real unit
What you make ends up at a bedside. You see it in use, you hear from the clinicians using it, you improve what needs improving. Feedback loops in weeks, not quarters.
05
No two days look the same
Small team, wide surface. You touch more kinds of work in a month here than in a year somewhere ten times the size.

Full time
At Innocens you get a rare chance to work on the healthcare of the future and make a real difference for the most vulnerable patients. You join a small team with one goal: developing our products further and bringing them to market.
What you will do
Work in a multidisciplinary team of doctors, researchers and developers on the software used by physicians and nurses.
Build user interfaces that clinicians find easy to work with.
Develop and extend our edge architecture, moving from a solution for neonatal sepsis to a platform technology covering multiple complications.
Install our products at new customers and maintain the existing installations.
What we expect from you
You hold a bachelor or master in computer science, or you have equivalent experience.
You know SQL, Docker, Python, JavaScript, Vue and Rust.
You are comfortable working with Git.
You can work independently and take responsibility for your work.
You are eager to learn and dare to put new ideas on the table.
You think in solutions and you are creative.
You are motivated to work in healthcare.
You have a good command of Dutch and English.
Nice to have
Experience with GitLab, GitHub or other code management tools.
Experience with GitLab pipelines.
Experience with Portainer.

Experience with the MDR and the GDPR.

Experience with on-premises installations and distributed licensing.
What we offer
Work that matters immediately. Our software runs on neonatal intensive care today and helps clinicians spot sepsis earlier.
A small team where you help decide on architecture and approach instead of working through tickets.
Experience building certified medical software inside an ISO 13485 quality system, a profile very few developers carry.
Direct collaboration with the founders, the doctors and our CTO.
A full time contract with a market rate package.
